“Individual Roles” 6 Characteristics

1.)  The first main characteristic of my role is to figure out what users need. After figuring this out i must make it easy for them to achieve their objectives.

2.) The second characteristic  of my role is to rely more on what i know about performance than preference and make use of what I'm learning.

3.) Organizing the site's content into categories and creating an interface to support those categories, is the third main characteristic of my role.

4.) The fourth characteristic is to make the elements of my web page dynamic.  A colorful and dynamic web page makes the site more fun, more interactive, and it allows us to make the page more usable.

5.) The fifth characteristic of my role is to make sure i understand hoe users work with a design. To do this i would have to watch people work and analyze their behavior.

6.) The last characteristic is to know when to invest more time into a certain area of the site.  If the site no longer need more color more pictures etc. then its time to move on. To much time on one area can affect the whole site.

Color Schemes

1.) The Minnesota Vikings have colors which is good example of complementary colors. There colors are purple and yellow.

2.) The color combination that makes orange is red and yellow.  Yellow and blue makes green, and blur and red makes purple. These are secondary colors.

3.) The difference between tints and shades are that tints are lightened colors and shades are darkened colors. When you tint you begin with white and add a bit of color to the white. When you shade you begin with a color and add a bit of black to the color.

4.) Neutral colors are black, white, gray and sometimes brown. These colors contain equal parts of each of the three primary colors red, yellow, and blue.

There are three main sets of color schemes. They are analogous, complimentary, and monochromatic. A good example of an Analogous site is: www.mcpheters.com
a complimentary site is: www.guardian.co.uk
and a monochromatic site is: www.xtendio.com
